Do not hesitate to call Smiley Drain Cleaning for a drainage inspection & repairs, or any of your plumbing needs. I found his company after reading the great reviews and was in serious need for immediate help. Our home had been under extensive renovations for over a year, and with a couple of weeks left before we moved in, found out out sewer line was completely blocked. After going through a different plumber, who was unable to dislodge the blockage or provide accurate information on our line, we decide to hire Smiley Drain Cleaning.Michael came out the next day to with his team and video, he provided us with a reasonable quote to install a proper clean-out for the main line in our backyard (huge plus for future needs) and have a hydro jetting professional come with better equipment for the job. Michael warned us that this may uncover a serious and costly $$$$ problem if it was a broken connection to the main line, but best case would be he can clear it with the hydro jet machine.The following Monday he was onsite to do the work and within a couple of hours, had dug the hole, replaced the pipe and was successful in clearing the blockage of roots. My family and I are able to move on with our final inspections and move in to our new home without delays. Michael saved our project, and my relief and happiness was overwhelming. I can't thank Michael and his team of professionals at Smiley Drain enough for their great work! We will continue to use them for maintenance and any future drainage needs.

Mr.Juan J. J. was a absolute delight. Very professional. Prior to starting he went over the estimate and price. As he began the job he made sure that whatever I didn’t know to move out if his way earlier , that he cleared it out in a organized way. I didn’t expect him to move anything as that really is not his job but he moved small items with care. The job then needed to be viewed in a secondary location. We went there and he patiently helped me clear out a small space so he could work. Nothing that had to be moved was large but once again I strongly felt he was going beyond the duties of the job to move anything at all. I would of cleaned out prior if I knew he needed that space I was very grateful that instead of saying no he couldn’t get access and just leave, that he did everything he could to get access. He was very friendly and wore a mask the entire time. He was able to finish the job and made sure that I saw the work was done and the tub was now draining. He was also able to show me some things that were broken and need further repair. He did not push me to use Smiley Drain. He explained to me the other services Smiley Drain offers. As a female widow, it is rare to find a contractor that really breaks things down and explains things. that alone was amazing. It was wonderful to be talked to and not talked down. I cannot wait to hire Smiley Drain for the other items that need to be fixed. Though Mr. Juan said that is not his specialty I feel good to hire Smiley Drain again because Juan showed me such excellent customer service. I called this company to clean my drain. They did a wonderful job and solved the problem quickly. My drain lines were clogging up badly during some rainstorms. I called Smiley Drain Cleaning, and Michael quoted me a good price, then came out the same day to fix the lines. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He actually found out that I needed the full clean out but it was done quickly, and he was honest. The hydro jetting service worked very well clearing our the main line to almost "like new" condition. I will definitely call Smiley Drain for any future plumbing or sewer cleaning needs.

Our kitchen sink drain was badly clogged so we called Smiley Drain Cleaning and they were able to send someone out within a couple hours. Mike was an excellent plumber, very professional, and didn't give up on the tough clog until he had fixed it, even though it meant taking apart the pipes a few times. Mike was extremely responsive and managed to get a van out despite the short notice. Stan managed to diagnose the issue with a root in the sewer line and remediated using a jetter within an hour. He showed us the issue and the healthy sewer line post remediation using a camera. While others pitched for an expensive sewer line replacement, Stan took the initiative to resolve an otherwise healthy sewer line with minimal intrusion, overhead, and cost. Would definitely have them in my contacts for any future plumbing needs!

Cleared a sewer line blockage in order to run a camera into the line to determine the location of the actual cause of the blockage and what would be required to correct the problem.Excellent Service. Mike and his helper were true professionals. They called in advance as the said they would. They arrived within in the time frame that was quoted. (I live in Clifton) I was able to ask questions about the work before they started work and they explained what they were doing and more importantly why they were doing it. This made me feel very comfortable with the work they were doing, which help me understand the situation better. Once the blockage had been removed, they showed us the camera images so we could actually see what the problem they were referring to and better understand what was needed to correct the problem. Michael provided a detailed invoice of the problem and what would be required to fix the problem. The office is forwarding a pdf of the images from the camera for our files, which will be needed for the repairs. If you have plumbing issues, I highly recommend Smiley Drain Cleaning! Great company!

Within one hour of a frantic phone call, two friendly Smiley Drain Cleaning techs were at my door. Not only did they quickly and IMMACULATELY solve my very gross problem, they made sure I was informed of all options, starting from the least expensive to the potentially more expensive solutions. They were confident they could resolve the issue using the more price friendly manner, but I decided to choose the hydro-jetting service. The techs were on time and cleared my drains with ease. (My uncle referred me to Smiley Drain, they provided grease trap cleaning services at his restaurant in Clifton last month. On Sunday, we suddenly had a clogged drain and an overflowing shower stall with water running into a bedroom. Called Smiley Drain Cleaning with a clogged main sewer line. They were out there in a jiffy and fixed my pipe, and got our drain flowing again, on the weekend no less! They gave me the option to use a hydro jetting machine or an auger. I chose the sewer jetter because we live in am old house in Clifton. Our old house had drainage problems in the bathtub and kitchen sink. Juan came and unclog as much as he could. He said I had a plumbing problem and needed to replace a trap and the main pipe. Smiley Drain Cleaning cleared my entire sewer main drain line. Everything was clogged, my toilet, kitchen sink, washer, showers, and bathtub. The techs used a hydro jetting machine to unclog the pipes, and did the BEST job. Way more knowledgeable than the other plumbers I've had experience with, and they get it done! I swear I'll never use another drain cleaning company again. And when I called to schedule something but they were booked for the day- they actually called me back and notified me that someone else canceled so I didn't have to wait until my scheduled appointment the next day- they could do it that day. I had a stoppage in my main sewer line, causing sewage to back up into my garage, and Smiley was able to come out earlier than I expected, which was great. Thomas came out first and fixed the clog quickly and professionally. He also ran a camera to confirm I needed a water jet cleaning. Smiley was able to schedule another appointment right away the next day. When Thomas and Johnathan came back the next day, they jetted the sewer line and solved the issue for good! I live in West Orange and needed a good drain cleaning company to unclog my main sewer drain. We have been noticing that are drains weren't flowing as they should. But sadly this morning we woke up to none of our dreams working. The toilets would not flush, the kitchen sinks would not drain, the shower and bathtub did not work. I knew I had an emergency service so after doing some research online and searching for drain cleaning near me I came across Smiley Drain.They had excellent reviews and I could tell that the clients seem genuinely happy. So after a quick phone call I had a technician out later on same day. Michael was our plumber and he was knowledgeable friendly and professional. After doing a video inspection I discovered we had tree roots growing in our sewer. Thankfully their trucks are stocked up and had a rooter machine that would cut the tree roots in clear my drain. I am also having this company come out later on next week and use the hydro jetting machine just as an extra precaution. My technician Michael was professional, courteous and hard working. He explained the process for clearing my exterior drains and then he began methodically working his way through my drains. With each cleared section my drains began to flow more efficiently. Well they say the 3rd time is a charm... We had two other plumbing and drain companies to unclog our drains and they were unsuccessful.However, when Smiley Drain Cleaning came out they got their hands dirty and got to work! Date of service 10/31/2021. The issue was a toilet, bathtub, and sink clogged. It was a main sewer line for sure, because all the drains were blocked. My experience with the tech Michael was nothing short of amazing. He ran an auger through the pipe, then preformed a video inspection and found tree roots in the line.Instead of replacing the pipes, we opted in for a hydro jetting machine that would be able to clear the drain. After the rooter service our water flows quickly down all our drains in the house. I highly recommend smiley drain cleaning, these guys are the best! don't fall for those coupon $99 drain cleaning companies, that raise the price once the plumber get there...

Michael found the clog was located in the main drain instead of the trap or pipes connected under the sink and then used the drain auger to get rid of the clog.Afterwards he used the the drain snake camera and showed us the results. completely cleared sewer line! I am happy we did not have to use a hydro jetting machine. He was very professional and explained everything what services needed to be done.I would highly recommend smiley drain cleaning to my friends and family. Very quick, courteous and accommodating. Right from the start, the phone call was informative and to the point. Was able to send someone same day for service. Alex came out and explained what might be the problem. I had to take apart some of my retaining wall to access the leader drain and he helped me do that even though that wasn’t part of the scope. He helped with dismantling the leader, and we found the clog was actually right there and not the drain. So he said because he didn’t have to get the big hydro jet and inspection camera out, it would be a regular simple drain clog price. Happy to work with Alex and this company. Price would have been on the high side if my drain would have been clogged but they have the knowledge, experience and tools to get it done and their digital system made things much easier and more efficient too. I would use them in the future.

I had a kitchen drain that was clogged. Tried snaking for 50 feet and did not help. Reached out to Smiley and they recommended Hydro jetting. They sent an estimate which was the market price. The front desk was responsive and easy to set up an appointment. The technician Darren came on time and reacted quickly . As the charge increases every 15 min after the 1st hour, the technician was quick enough to fix the issue within the first hour. He took necessary precaution to ensure the place is left clean inspite if so much grease that came out. He sprayed extra cleaning solution and cleaned the cabinets. The clog was removed. Extremely happy with the service.

If you have any type of clog or blockage in your sewer line call Smiley drain!I live in West Orange, NJ and I was worried I couldn't get a drainage company out here the same day. I had no idea what was going on other then every drain was completely clogged with something. After doing some research on Google I found Smiley drain cleaning! The reviews were great and when I called the woman I spoke to was kind, friendly and most importantly worked with me to get a plumber out to assess this emergency!Michael came out to our home and first did a sewer line inspection to see what exactly was the problem. He even showed me video he was able to record, and there were tree roots growing inside of the main line.After discussing several options available I chose to go with the Rooter Service along with hydro jetting anything that might have been left behind. He had this giant drain snake with a bit that would chop up the roots. After he completed the rooter job he used a hydro jetting machine that pump high pressurized water and completely cleared anything that was in my drains.I did not realize how slow my drains were until now! (Before) I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to not have water fill up in the shower or your toilet flushing flawlessly! Have a large tree in Clifton with my sewer line under it. Have used Smiley Drain Cleaners for over 2+ years for a once-a-year cleaning. The drain team Michael and his trainee ( yikes I am sorry I forgot your name!!) that came to my house was awesome!! Michael was phenomenal and came as quickly as he could when he heard my bathroom was overflowing sewage. Some kind of stop in the drain in the middle of my yard! He came on a Saturday morning when no other companies would even answer my calls. I didnt even know what a rooter service was, but he ended up pulling 3' of roots out of my sewer line!Cleared it, unclogged ALL my drains and made sure they were unclogged by running a camera down my pipes to make sure it was good and did it all in an hour and a half. I went with Smiley Drain Cleaning because their company had the highest rating and the BEST reviews! I was not disappointed. He was fast, respectful, and kept and eye on my 2 door dashing cats while coming in and out my house. I am very grateful. It was BAD, and I mean BAD. I called Smiley to snake out a clogged leader drain in the front of my house. They sent Darren who was very professional and discussed the job with me. I have no idea about plumbing and why my drains are clogged as I would like. My sinks were not draining in my kitchen and bathroom and my toilet was having issues. From start to finish, my experience with the Smiley Drain Cleaning team of professionals was outstanding. It is no surprise to me that this business consistently receives "5 Star" reviews---like mine---because they are all focused on and committed to peerless customer service at a fair price.When I first called and talked with Steve in the scheduling office, he gave me a prompt appointment and offered me a 3 hour service window so that I could better plan my day. The day of my service appointment, I not only received a text message informing me that my Service Technician, Darren, was on his way to my home, but the text also included an identifying picture and a profile of Darren's professional qualifications, personal interests and hobbies. I felt as though I knew Darren before he even rang our doorbell :) Darren was very friendly, professional and extremely competent in quickly diagnosing the potential problem(s) and giving me a reasonable price estimate with or without a 6 month warranty. When we agreed to proceed, Darren was very careful to insure our home and my wife's bathroom area was as mess-proof as possible for the work at hand. Besides following a safe Covid-19 protocol, Darren put clean boot-wraps on his shoes as soon as he entered our home, used drop cloths under and around the sink area, and was most careful in every aspect of performing his work. And, most importantly, he totally resolved our drain problem and extracted the blocking materials as well as clearing well beyond the blocked area. He then tested the area for 10 minutes before being totally satisfied that his work was complete. Been having an issue with Main Drain backup for 2 years now since moving into home. Had it unclogged 4-5 times. After getting what seemed to be the run around with other companies, tried Smiley Drain. Mike came by to hear me out and recommended the Jet so two engineers came by to clear the drain problem. Issue was cleared within the hour, however they required more time and would come back to do a thorough clean of the drain and inspection with camera. Darren came back and finished the process of jetting the remainder of the grime out of the line into the sewer. During the course of the inspection, he re-examined a dip in the pipe that was found and suggested two solutions to correct this type of problem. He will follow-up with Mike who will reach out. Overall I feel that everyone including Darren was honest, professional and feel that I was well taken care of. Response time was very good and wish I did not waist my time looking elsewhere first. Smiley Drain was a good bet. I had a backed up sewer line and was in a complete panic. They quickly diagnosed the issue (roots in line) and went right to work. I was sure this was going to break the bank but I was wrong. They Hydro Jetted the line and sent down a camera to be sure the issue was resolved. My line line cleared and I was back in business. My husband called Smiley Drain because our kitchen sink was backing up.They responded promptly and had a Tech to our home in an hour. The Tech was knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful. He cleared the clog and cleaned up after himself. He even cleaned my sink and left it spotless! I feel Smiley Drain is truly trustworthy.
